A new Caption Editor is coming to Viostream to make your caption generation process smoother than ever.
How do I generate a caption file?
Upon completion of video encoding when you upload, our ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) system will analyze the dialogue within your video and generate a free caption file for you to publish. To publish the caption on your video, open up the file with our Caption Editor and make the required adjustments to the text and timecode.
Alongside the free AI generated caption, you can also order Premium Captions that will then send the video off to a third party who then has a real person watch the video and manually create the captions. The Premium Captions are ordered by minutes and based on the minutes attributed to your account. Minutes can be purchased in blocks of 100.
Lastly, if you have an existing caption file (.srt or .vtt) for your video, you can upload that directly as well. All these options can then be tweaked with our caption editor and published to your video.
